This gave them the chance to hear from industry professionals around the question, what do I do once I graduate from college. An engaging conversation with many invaluable takeaways was led by: • Jalen Randolph, CFP®, MBA, Wealth Advisor at Corient Partners, Envestnet CFP Scholarship Recipient '20 • Blair Gorman, CIMA®, Sales Manager from Franklin Templeton • Renee Tepper, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist from Envestnet • EOC hosted a virtual webinar event for the Finance and Economics Club at The College of New York (CUNY) - Staten Island last September. Special guests included Sam Ntim-Addae from BlackRock and Jenny Le from Osaic who shared industry insights and career advice to a full room of eager and interested students that had many valuable takeaways after the discussion. Stand out students who pulled this together, Adrian Rosales and Chris Vitale. Career Events • The EOC invited a few students from Villanova to Meet & Eat with some of our own Envestnet team members from various departments like: WealthTech Marketing, Internal Communications, Talent & Acquistion, Data & Analytics, Advisor Sales & Practice Solutions, and Portfolio Administration. Thank you to those that volunteered their time. It was truly an insightful mini event to help support the next generation of professionals, beginning their career path. • Boston Career Day: Eileen Hayes from BlackRock led another successful event this year for students from Bryant University, Bentley University, and Babson College. Students were provided with a panel discussion, breakout sessions, and time to network with leading professionals representing our industry. Thanks to State Street for hosting, William Jacobs from Franklin Templeton, Michael Gates from BlackRock, and Justin Hansen from MFS. • Upcoming: Fall Career Day in Berwyn, PA | Date: TBD Initiatives • A summer session with instructional support for the Security Industry Essentials® (SIE®) license, which is a co-requisite, entry-level certification administered by FINRA as a "gateway" exam for other FINRA licenses, was launched to boost the hiring potential of a group of eleven students who were interested in adding this to their professional portfolio. We hope to continue to offer more sessions in the future for this level of career training to better serve our industry partners and to continue to better prepare this next generation of professionals. • Pro Career Network Through Mentorship: The PCN program continues to match and connect past graduates with industry professionals who are willing to share their support as career coaches. Current coaches represent volunteers from Envestnet, our program sponsors, and other industry-leading firms.
