US Corporate Bond Yields
Notably, AAA-rated corporate bonds
now yield 4.1% (in aggregate). By
accepting moderate credit risk,
investors can receive yields of around
5.7%. These yields have rewarded fixed
income investors who endured the
bond market rollercoaster of the past
four years.
Yields have remained surprisingly stable
this year even after the September rate
cut. This is good news for investors who
seek current income from bonds but
may disappoint those who hoped for
falling rates to elevate bond prices.

have an inverse relationship.)
