What is it? Strategist UMAs allow advisors to offer their high net worth clients customizable solutions from some of the industry's leading asset managers. Similar to a fund strategist portfolio, these models allow you to outsource the asset allocation and investment product selection of your portfolios but take it a step further to offer separate account equity sleeves, bond sleeves that allow for individual fixed income securities and the ability to equip the strategy with a tax and/or values overlay. Potential Benefits of outsourcing Advisors roles have shifted from being a broker to being a wealth manager that can provide comprehensive planning and holistic advice. Step 2 Under All Investments select the Search Filters option. Step 3 Clear any current filters and then click the Category dropdown. Under Product Type select either Strategist UMA or Multi-Manager-Account. Step 4 Select Apply and you will see the products and leading asset managers you have available to you under the Strategist UMA program.
