Proposed Asset Transition Summary For more information, go to investpmc.com Envestnet | PMC Envestnet | PMC's Proposed Asset Transition Summary (PATS) is a hypothetical report summarizing how taxable accounts with large embedded gains may transition into an account using Tax Overlay Services. A PATS report is an illustration of PMC's tax management capabilities for accounts with legacy assets and is not intended to be used as an actual transition plan.* Using its investment discretion, PMC employs a sophisticated investment process, along with our proprietary technologies, to transition accounts with legacy assets to a Tax Overlay Services account. A PATS report shows one of many different scenarios for transitioning an account and is designed for the advisor to help explain PMC's sophisticated Tax Overlay Services. A PATS report will provide the following: When is a PATS report appropriate? Generally speaking, a PATS report is appropriate for tax-sensitive clients with large, investment accounts with significant unrealized gains. The following criteria should be considered to determine if a PATS report is appropriate: • Account is greater than $1.0 Million • Sizable unrealized long-term gains (>10% of portfolio) • Significant unrealized short-term gains • Client has considerable realized gains outside of account (Sample screenshot: Does not represent real data, clients, or advisors. Layout subject to change.) Summary Page Provides a snapshot of the current tax scenario in the client's portfolio and indicates the estimated tax resulting from the transition. The proposal will also include the asset allocation. Legacy Portfolio Analysis Displays the current portfolio that will be transitioned. Reveals the securities that may be retained and allocated within the new portfolio as well as the securities that may be sold as part of the transfer to the new portfolio. * Actual management may vary, based on changes in market value, manager models, or assets actually used to fund the account.
